We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and are committed to making our church a safe space, and to dealing openly and transparently with any issues raised.
Our commitments to all
- We will strive to promote a safe environment and culture for all,
- We will safely recruit and support all those with any responsibility related to children and vulnerable adults,
- We will respond promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation,
- We will care pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse or other affected persons,
- We will care pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns/allegations of abuse and other affected persons, and
- We will respond to those that may pose a present risk.
What to do if you have a concern
If you are concerned that someone you know is at risk of, or is being abused, or presents a risk to others, then please report the Safeguarding Concern by clicking on the button below. You can also seek advice from a the Parish Safeguarding Officer, Diocesan Advisor, or if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services or the Police without delay.
